Helping teenagers through unexpected medical challenges so they can thrive.
Bio
Nancy Dodson, MD
Since the early days of my training as a pediatrician, I was drawn to the teen population.
I find their health issues interesting, but even moreso, I find teens interesting, as they develop ideas and identities that shape who they will be as adults. I also value the relationships I form with parents as we figure out, together, what their teen needs to thrive.
I completed my pediatrics residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and my adolescent medicine fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. I am board-certified. I was on faculty at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore where I served as medical director of the Adolescent Eating Disorder Program. I then worked as an adolescent specialist at Pediatrics on Hudson, a community practice, before starting Village Adolescent Medicine in Hastings on Hudson, New York.
